About The Position

Join our team as a rotating shift, full-time, Surgery (OR), PACU, Registered Nurse (RN) in Athens, TX. UT Health Athens is a 127-bed facility, including a 24-hour ED, designated as a Level IV trauma center and Level III stroke center; advanced diagnostic technology; 10-bed ICU; maternity unit radiation therapy center; and a stand-alone ED in Gun Barrel City. Requirements

• Associates Degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Must maintain current Texas RN License
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care

Nice To Haves

• Prior operating room experience
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) Certified

Responsibilities

• Use the nursing process to provide and direct patient care for a group of patients for a designated time frame before and during a surgical procedure
