About The Position

Perform a head-to-toe assessment on all patients and re-assignments as per
policy.
Formulated, prioritizes and documents nursing diagnosis consistent with the
assessment data.
Performs patient care responsibilities considering needs specific to the
patient’s age.
Ability to revise a plan of care as indicated by the patient’s response to
treatment and evaluate overall plan for daily effectiveness.
Knowledge of medications and their correct administration based on age of the
patient and their clinical condition.
Ability to perform treatments and provide services according to scope of
practice.

Requirements

• Current licensed as a Professional Registered Nurse in New York State
• BCLS/ACLS required
• PALS required
• Child abuse and Maltreatment Certification
• NIHSS STROKE CERTIFICATION
• Moderate Sedation Certification

Nice To Haves

• Bachelors preferred
• Basic Arrhythmia course preferred
