About The Position

Shiloh Assisted Living is seeking a compassionate and driven Registered Nurse (RN) to work full-time in partnership with the Clinical Nurse Supervisor to support the health and wellness of our residents. This role plays a critical part in ensuring high-quality care, regulatory compliance, and team development in a warm, community-focused environment.

Requirements

Current MN RN License in good standing.
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to guide and support a team.
Solid understanding of nursing assessments, care planning, and assisted living regulations.
Able to communicate clearly with residents and families about care needs.
Team-oriented with a willingness to step in where needed.
Able to meet the physical demands of the position.

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in assisted living or long-term care preferred.

Responsibilities

Advocate for appropriate services based on each resident's individual needs.
Complete and organize admission and discharge assessments; supervise or perform routine assessments as needed.
Observe and audit daily charting to ensure accuracy and compliance.
Oversee proper medication administration procedures; address corrections or errors with staff.
Provide health and medication training to new staff; deliver ongoing education and document all training to meet state and federal standards.
Support the Assisted Living Manager with marketing and outreach efforts.
Help coordinate and host community events (e.g., family picnics, entertainment, coffee socials).
Provide tours and guidance to potential residents and families.
Document and report resident or family concerns and grievances.
Maintain professional relationships with families, residents, staff, and healthcare partners.
Mentor and monitor direct care staff; support performance management by informing the Assisted Living Manager of concerns when necessary.
Work independently while collaborating closely with the Clinical Nurse Supervisor and broader care team.
