As a Registered Nurse, you will administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.

Requirements

• Professional nursing degree
• Tennessee State Nursing licensure
• Current BLS certification upon hire
• At least one year of prior nursing experience
• Experience performing venipuncture and accessing ports to administer treatment to your patients.
• In-depth knowledge of the many types of infection treatments available and willingness to stay current in these areas
• Experience with navigating Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems and familiarity with HIPAA, OSHA, and other safety guidelines
• Communicating respectfully and promptly

Responsibilities

• Administer, monitor, and document chemotherapy and other infusion treatments for our patients according to treatment plans ordered by our oncology and hematology providers.
• Provide education on treatment, as well as emotional support.
• Provide excellent customer service by rolling out the red carpet to meet their needs and make them feel as comfortable as possible during a challenging time in their lives.
• Serve as a resource for patients and other clinical team members.
• Maintain quality care of patients.
• Jump in and help out with any additional tasks.
