About The Position
Adelphi is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RN) to provide professional nursing services in a facility in Chatham County, North Carolina. The ideal candidate will care for adolescents in a structured environment and must be comfortable working independently with direct care staff during part of the shift. Requirements
- Active North Carolina RN license
- Current BLS certification
- Experience in adolescent, pediatric, school, public health, correctional-juvenile, and/or emergency nursing
- Ability to work independently as the only nurse on-site during part of the shift
- Competence with EHR systems and telehealth equipment
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Availability to complete facility-based orientation at the start of the assignment
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care within the full scope of RN practice for adolescents
- Administer medications and treatments safely and in compliance with regulations
- Monitor and document patient health status
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic health records
- Collaborate with direct care staff to ensure continuity of care
- Utilize telehealth equipment and participate in virtual consultations
- Support health, safety, and wellness in a secure environment
- Complete facility orientation and ongoing required training
