About The Position
Work Schedule and Shift Premiums 36 hours/week including every other weekend shifts are 1900 to 0700 and 2300 to 0700 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hour, 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hour, and weekend premium is an additional $2.00/hour Benefits for Full Time Employees Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability Paid Time Off: vacation, sick days, holidays Retirement: 403(b) with match Education assistance and continuing education Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent plus associates degree or higher in nursing Valid Michigan RN license Mental Health nursing experience preferred, but may consider others with an interest in and aptitude for the field BLS, ACLS, and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital) Responsibilities Direct and carry out nursing activities for assigned shift Administer medication assuring consents are obtained on all psychotropic, anti-anxiety agents and antidepressants, and that patient is given medication information Ensure all discharge interviews and safety plans are complete for each patient Ensure the privacy and confidentiality of protected health information at all times Why Hillsdale Hospital Hillsdale Hospital is dedicated to excellence in healthcare community service, continued improvement, and respect for human life. Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent plus associates degree or higher in nursing
- Valid Michigan RN license
- BLS, ACLS, and TEAMS certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)
Nice To Haves
- Mental Health nursing experience preferred, but may consider others with an interest in and aptitude for the field
