About The Position

Advanced Houston Specialty Hospital is looking for Night Shift Registered Nurses to join our team of health care professionals in a newly renovated facility at 205 Hollow Tree Lane, Spring, TX. Join our team and help us provide top-tier medical services to a justice involved population! Compensation includes: Starting Rate: $44.00/hr Shift Premiums ( $3.00/hr for night shift) Weekend Premiums Holiday Premiums As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care while ensuring compliance with medical standards and facility security protocols. This role requires clinical expertise, adaptability, and the ability to function effectively in a secure and structured environment.

Requirements

  • Current and valid Registered Nurse license in the state of Texas.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Registered Nurse.
  • Required certification and licensure as follows: Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support.
  • Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record required, unless waived by management.
  • Must successfully complete annual requirements to include maintaining licenses, certifications, and passing an annual background check.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing treatments, and monitoring vital signs.
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Document patient information, including medical history, symptoms, and treatment progress.
  • Monitor patients for changes in condition and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient care, medical history, and treatment progress in electronic medical records.
  • Work closely and efficiently with facility administration and act as a liaison between the clinic staff, medical administration, security staff and any necessary third parties.
  • Respond to medical emergencies and provide critical care in collaboration with other healthcare team members.
  • Provide ethical nursing care in a confidential, caring, non-judgmental, non-discriminatory manner.
  • Collaborate with security staff to maintain a safe and secure healthcare environment.
  • Adhere to strict security measures, including controlled access to medical supplies and compliance with facility policies on contraband.
  • Regular and predictable attendance required.
  • It is expected that the incumbent shall perform other duties as assigned within his/her capabilities as determined by management.
