Position Summary: The RN Nurse Faculty is required to complete all DHS training requirements to become a certified nurse trainer and to then meet all requirements of the Nurse Trainer Success profile in addition to ensuring that all medical needs are met for all persons served on their caseload, ensuring that persons served and their guardians are involved in maintaining their own health services to the best of their ability. He/she is required to complete all DHS training requirements to become a certified nurse trainer Physical Demands: The RN Nurse Faculty position involves sitting up to 8 hours per day, repetitive typing, bending, the ability to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, fine motor manipulations, talk, hear and complete repetitive motions. The position involves working in indoor and potentially outdoor environments. Schedule: The RN Nurse Faculty spends a majority of their working hours in the field working directly with clients and Direct Support Professionals. This time would accumulate to average a minimum of 25% of working hours. Achieving this involves working weekly evening hours and monthly weekend hours and will vary depending on the needs of our clients. This is a full-time position that requires a staff member to work a minimum of 80 hours per two-week period.
