DeBakey VA Medical Center to hire experienced Registered Nurses for the Community Living Center (CLC). This is a meaningful opportunity to provide high-quality, veteran-centered care in a collaborative, interdisciplinary environment focused on dignity, compassion, and clinical excellence. The VA Community Living Center provides: Short-term rehabilitation Long-term care Hospice care Respite care CLCs offer a home-like setting, with individualized care plans that support veterans’ physical, emotional, and social well-being. Veterans receive 24-hour nursing care in a collaborative environment that prioritizes dignity, engagement, and quality of life.
Requirements
- BSN required
- Current, unrestricted RN license
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ACEN or CCNE)
- Minimum 2 years of recent MedSurg or LTAC experience within the last 5 years
- Current BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY)
- Ability to pass background investigation and credentialing through VetPro
