The part time RN role is for Mondays and Friday Days from 6a - 6:30pm

Requirements

  • Colorado Registered Nursing License, in good standing.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language.
  • Must possess excellent customer service skills.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak the English language

Nice To Haves

  • Advanced training in geriatrics preferred.
  • 1-year experience in a long-term care facility preferred.
  • 1-year experience in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word and Outlook

Responsibilities

  • Connect and Communicate: Be the communication hub! Keep nursing staff, physicians, pharmacists, and family members in the loop about resident status—think of yourself as the central nervous system of our care team.
  • Listen and Act: Tune in to resident, family, and physician concerns with genuine care, then jump into action with solutions or escalate to the right people. Your advocacy makes a real difference!
  • Champion Care Plans: Attend resident care conferences and keep care plans sharp, accurate, and relevant—these are your roadmap to delivering exceptional care.
  • Master Medication Management: Prepare, administer, and document medications like a pro, following physician orders to the letter. Stay on top of inventory, ordering new meds and retiring expired ones before they become a problem.
  • Document with Purpose: Keep detailed, accurate records of patient care issues and report them through proper channels. Great documentation = great care!
  • Trust Your Instincts: Spot signs and symptoms early, use your clinical judgment, and select the right treatment or procedures. Your experience and intuition are invaluable assets.
  • Lead with Confidence: Supervise and mentor ancillary personnel with clarity and support. When corrective action is needed, address it promptly and constructively to keep the team thriving.
  • Embrace Flexibility: Take on additional duties as needed—we're a collaborative team that adapts to meet our residents' evolving needs.
