The Community Service Board of Middle Georgia's Crisis Stabilization Unit is seeking a qualified individual to serve as our next Registered Nurse. Quentin Price, M.D. Crisis Stabilization Unit in Dublin, GA, offers vital 24-hour residential support to adults grappling with mental health and/or substance use challenges necessitating intervention, stabilization, or detoxification. Whether admitted voluntarily or involuntarily, individuals aged 18 or older receive compassionate and responsive services tailored to their needs. Our dedicated team is committed to providing a safe and supportive environment where individuals can begin their journey towards healing and recovery.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Nursing
  • Active Georgia Registered Nursing License
  • Comfortability with conflict and skilled in conflict resolution
  • Valid Georgia Driver’s License
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively with diverse communities
  • Ability to work independently and in collaboration with others
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 Office Products
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and meet deadlines accordingly

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Nursing
  • Previous experience working in a supervisory capacity

Responsibilities

  • Complete daily flow sheets on all individuals
  • Review referrals, complete walk in assessments and call the on-call physician for orders
  • Delegate appropriate tasks to LPNs and Techs
  • Complete Initial Nursing Assessments & complete all legal documents
  • Ensure that the GCAL board is kept updated
  • Ensure that providers are signing all necessary forms, order, labs, medication consents within 24 hours
  • Assist MD/NP as needed
  • Give necessary care in emergencies to all consumers and call report to MD
  • Document all incidents and transfers as required
  • Document any and all activity and/or progress in individual served medical record
  • Ensure individual served receives all appropriate care
  • Educate individual served and family as needed
  • Other duties as assigned
