About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) at Villages Endoscopy Center is responsible for planning, directing, organizing, coordinating, and implementing all nursing care services for pre- and post-surgical patients. This role requires adherence to accepted standards of care, ensuring the highest quality and safe delivery of patient care. The RN must maintain compliance with professional nursing standards, JCAHO, and all Federal and State standards. The position involves caring for patients across all age groups, from 1 month to geriatric.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing
• At least 1 year experience as a RN in hospital Medical/Surgery or ICU unit
• Active RN license in the state
• BLS certification
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment
• Able to prioritize and organize workload to meet needs of patients and unit
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written

Nice To Haves

• Current ACLS / PALS preferred or included in education plan
