About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking experienced Registered Nurses (RNs) for full-time contract assignments at a state-operated forensic treatment facility in St. Louis, Missouri. This role involves providing psychiatric and forensic nursing care in a secure treatment environment across two campuses (North and South) . The ideal candidate is clinically strong, safety-focused, and comfortable working with forensic and behavioral health populations.

Requirements

• Active Missouri RN license (current and in good standing)
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience in a psychiatric, behavioral health, or correctional setting
• Minimum 1 year of travel RN experience
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts on a rotating 36/48-hour weekly schedule
• Comfortable working in a secure forensic treatment environment

Responsibilities

• Deliver direct nursing care to adult forensic psychiatric patients in accordance with facility policies and state regulations
• Conduct patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor clinical responses and safety
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to support treatment plans and crisis interventions
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Adhere strictly to all safety, security, and compliance protocols
