About The Position
PRN! 8 or 12 hour shifts Responsibilities: Patient Care : Oversee comprehensive care plans for residents, ensuring high-quality treatment. Assessment and Monitoring : Regularly assess residents' health status, monitor changes, and adjust care plans as needed. Medication Administration : Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. Supervision : Lead and supervise LPNs, CNAs, and other nursing staff, ensuring adherence to care standards. Collaboration : Work with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement resident care strategies. Documentation : Maintain accurate and thorough records of care, medications, and residents' conditions. Education and Support : Provide guidance and health education to residents and their families.
Requirements
- Active RN license in the applicable state.
- Strong clinical assessment skills.
- Ability to lead and collaborate within a healthcare team.
Nice To Haves
- Prior nursing home experience is often preferred.
