About The Position
Position Summary: The Telemetry registered nurse provides direct patient care, in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act, to assigned patients in the Telemetry units. The registered nurse is supportive, compassionate, efficient, detail-oriented team player with excellent interpersonal skills and who collaboratively maintains plan of care for the vulnerable patients.
Requirements
- All External candidates must have a Bachelor of Science in Nursing
- Current California RN license
- Current American Heart Association BLS certification
- Current American Heart Association ACLS
- Initial Dysrhythmia Recognition within 90 days of hire
- Recent acute care experience
- Must possess the skill, knowledge and ability essential to the successful performance of assigned duties
- Must demonstrate customer service skills appropriate to the job
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to maintain a work pace appropriate to the workload
- Must be able to provide proof of work authorization
