This full-time Registered Nurse position in Allergy requires a current CT RN License, with the starting rate commensurate with position-related experience.
Requirements
- CT RN licensure required
- BLS required
- RN license
- Strong skills in patient education and emergency response
Nice To Haves
- Experience in outpatient or specialty care preferred
Responsibilities
- Perform skin prick, intradermal, and patch testing
- Administer allergy injections and monitor patients for reactions
- Prepare and maintain allergen extract vials (if applicable)
- Educate patients on asthma action plans, epinephrine use, and avoidance strategies
- Assist with spirometry and nebulizer treatments
- Document care in the EHR
- Participate in emergency response
