About The Position

This role involves providing care and dignity to the Medical Unit 2 patient population. The Registered Nurse will lead a team of patient care providers, including Licensed Practical Nurses and Nursing Assistants. Responsibilities include participating in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care to ensure a high standard of care within all guidelines, policies, and regulations. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and collaboratively, possess strong communication skills with coworkers, patients, and their families, and be capable of assessing and solving problems, adapting quickly, and managing multiple tasks efficiently.

Requirements

Work well independently and with others
Desire and ability to communicate well with coworkers, patients and their families
Able to assess and solve problems
Switch gears swiftly and be able to adapt to handle multiple tasks in a short period of time
Graduate from a nursing program and current MN RN license required
BSN required within three years
Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required
