About The Position

We are looking for a Registered Nurse to join our team to support a major manufacturer in Montgomery, AL. This role will be part of an onsite health clinic, providing occupational health and injury prevention services to employees. Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or equivalent for a Registered Nurse
The required state licensure, certification, and registration that is in good standing with the state or the ability to obtain the required state licensure
CPR/AED/BLS (basic life support) certification or the ability to obtain it prior to start of employment; maintain and provide proof of current certification(s)
Greater than one-year work experience, specifically in an occupational health setting
Knowledge and experience with Electronic Medical Records
The ability to stand, walk, and sit throughout entire assigned shift
A high degree of professionalism in both written and verbal communication
The ability to work both independently and in a team environment, without constant supervision
Be able to maintain confidentiality
Strong computer skills, including proficiency with databases and with Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
Eligibility to Work: This position requires candidates to be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis without requiring current or future sponsorship for an employment visa (e.g., H-1B, OPT, etc.)

Responsibilities

Provide medical care and treatment for work-related injuries and illnesses
Conduct injury and illness case management, including return-to-work coordination and disability accommodations
Perform and manage occupational health screenings such as audiograms, drug screenings, and respirator fit testing
Support ergonomic assessments and safety coaching to promote workplace safety
Collaborate with the Health & Safety team and provide health education/coaching (e.g., Lunch and Learns)
Maintain and manage electronic medical records (EMR) and occupational health data systems
Participate in campus wellness events and environmental health and safety meetings
Support First Aid/CPR training and AED inspections
