Scheduled Weekly Hours: 40 Registered Nurse – Procedural Sedation & General Surgery Clinic Location: La Crosse, Wisconsin Schedule: Full-time, 80 hours per two weeks 1.0 FTE) Shift: 8-hour day shifts, Monday–Friday, between 7:30 am and 5:00 pm No weekends, holidays, or on-call obligations! What You Will Do Provide hands-on nursing care in both Procedural Sedation and General Surgery Clinic settings Assist with procedural sedation and in-office Vascular and General Surgery procedures Care for patients pre-op, intra-op, and post-op, including education and coordination of pre-procedure calls Perform telephone triage, patient education, and coordinate patient care Hands-on skills include: Administering sedation medications Starting and maintaining vascular access Point-of-care INR and glucose testing Wound vacs and dressing changes Collaborate with surgery and vascular clinicians in newly renovated spaces on the 3rd floor of the Heritage building. Requirements

  • Minimum of Associate Degree in Nursing
  • RN licensure in Wisconsin upon hire
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers
  • ACLS and Procedural Sedation training required within 8 weeks of hire
  • 1+ year of RN experience (new graduate nurses are not eligible)
  • Ability to thrive while working through change and help develop workflows for this evolving role
