About The Position
The primary function of this position is to provide total nursing care to patients, guided by Advanced Practice Nurse and Physician orders, standards of care, policies and procedures. The role also involves maintaining a legible, pertinent, and accurate record of the patient's course of treatment based on their plan of care and disease process.
Requirements
- Graduate of accredited school of nursing.
- Currently licensed in the State of Missouri
- BLS, ACLS, and NRP certification required. If certifications are not current upon hire, must complete with in six months of hire.

- PALS, TNCC, or ENPC preferred
Responsibilities
- Performs comprehensive nursing assessments in an efficient and effective manner.
- Performs all aspects of blood component administration by following applicable procedures and protocols.
- Performs intravenous therapy dynamics by following administration principles in an effective manner.
- Utilizes assessment/observation and review of available data to develop a comprehensive nursing care plan that supports the medical plan for each patient.
- Collaborates with Medical Staff, managements, and other health care providers to coordinated medical and nursing management of patient care.
- Carries out the discharge planning process.
- Maintains and performs all patient related documentation in a timely, factual and legible manner.
- Performs emergency treatment as required.
- Promotes and ensures patient safety in all aspects of responsibilities.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
