As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you will provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures. Along with ensuring a safe and sterile environment in the operating room, you will prepare patients for surgery and assist the surgical team. Finally, you will monitor vital signs, administer medications, and provide crucial support during the recovery phase.

Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse License in State of Michigan
  • Team player who collaborates with and assists the surgical team
  • Strong communication skills, to stand as the vital link between surgical team, the patient and their family
  • Attention to detail, to maintain a safe and sterile environment
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.
