This will be a joint venture partnership with our physician partners. The beautiful ASC will open in February.

Requirements

  • Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the State of Michigan
  • Minimum of two years of management experience in an ambulatory surgery center or surgical services within an acute care hospital
  • Demonstrated leadership and managerial competence
  • Current BCLS certification required
  • ACLS and PALS certification must be obtained within six months of hire
  • Munson Healthcare requires all employees be vaccinated or have lab confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella and Varicella.
  • MHC also requires all employees to receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year that they are hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or a related degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Train and onboard new clinical staff, ensuring adherence to policies, procedures, and best practices
  • Oversee clinical personnel management, including recruitment, hiring, training, supervision, and retention
  • Utilize working knowledge of nursing techniques, medical equipment, healthcare documentation systems, and clinical workflows
  • Manage daily operations of the pre-operative, operating room, and post-operative areas, including staffing and process oversight
