Here’s What You Need Nursing Diploma — Required Associate Degree in Nursing — Required Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing — Preferred Minimum 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse — Required Minimum 2 year of experience as a Registered Nurse in Labor and Delivery — Highly preferred Licenses & Certifications Registered Nurse (RN) — Required upon hire BCLS – Basic Cardiac Life Support — Required prior to providing independent patient care; maintained quarterly ACLS – Advanced Cardiac Life Support — Required within 90 days of hire NRP – Essential Neonatal Resuscitation Program — Required within 90 days of hire CPI – Crisis Prevention Intervention Training — Required within 90 days of hire; maintained annually NRPA – Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program — Required within 90 days of hire Intermediate Fetal Monitoring (IFM): If newly hired with perinatal experience and have never taken IFM — required within 6 months If no experience in perinatal nursing — required within 18 months AWHONN – Advanced Fetal Monitoring — Required within 18 months (after 6 months of experience with EFM) Skills A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment. Requirements

Nursing Diploma — Required
Associate Degree in Nursing — Required
