About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is the core of ProMedica’s world-class patient care team. ProMedica nurses are dedicated to improving health outcomes for patients and communities by providing patient-centered care through sensitivity and respect for the diversity of human experience. As the coordinator of a patient’s plan of care, the RN will interact with the patient, families, and the health care team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. The RN will assess and formulate a nursing diagnosis, and plan, implement, and evaluate the effectiveness of the care plan. In this position, the RN will work collaboratively with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and will strive to improve patient care, the work environment, and patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

Current State license as a Registered Nurse
Current CPR training
Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
Complete twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period (for RNs in Ohio)
At least 1 hour of contact hours must be related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules (for RNs in Ohio)
