About The Position

The Registered Nurse (RN) is central to ProMedica’s patient care team, providing patient-centered care with sensitivity and respect for diverse human experiences. ProMedica nurses are committed to improving health outcomes for patients and communities. In this role, the RN coordinates a patient’s plan of care, engaging with patients, families, and the healthcare team through open communication, mutual respect, and shared decision-making. Responsibilities include assessing and formulating nursing diagnoses, then planning, implementing, and evaluating the effectiveness of care plans. The RN will collaborate with fellow nurses and support staff to achieve patient care goals and will actively work to enhance patient care, the work environment, and overall patient and staff satisfaction.

Requirements

• Current State license as a Registered Nurse
• Current CPR training
• Specialty certifications as required by individual nursing units
• Completion of twenty-four contact hours of continuing education during his/her licensure period (for RNs in Ohio)
• At least 1 hour of contact hours related to Chapter 4723 of the Ohio nurse practice code and rules (for RNs in Ohio)
