About The Position

Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is currently seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to support operations within the VA Palo Alto Health Care System. Selected RNs could be called upon to work in an Acute Care Facility or Community Living Center. The following facilities are supported: Primarily: Menlo Park VA Medical Center, Community Living Center, 795 Willow Road, Menlo Park, CA 94025 Palo Alto VA Medical Center, 3801 Miranda Avenue, Palo Alto, CA 94304 Ansible Government Solutions, LLC (Ansible) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) providing Federal customers with solutions in many arenas. Requirements

  • Holds a diploma, Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing from an accredited program, college, or university and hold a current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in any State; a Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Has been practicing actively as an RN in an acute, long-term care setting, inpatient/SNF/geriatric setting for at least the last two years
  • Is capable of providing complex and comprehensive nursing care for adult medical and surgical patients
  • Has and maintains current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
  • Has no health or physical disability restrictions that interfere with performance of assigned duties
  • Sit, stand, walk, lift, squat, bend, twist, and reach above shoulders during the work shift
  • Lift up to 50 lbs from floor to waist
  • Lift up to 20 lbs
  • Carry up to 40 lbs a reasonable distance
  • Push/pull with 30 lbs of force

Responsibilities

  • Provide full-scope geriatric nursing care in Community Living Centers.
  • Deliver patient care that meets or exceeds nationally recognized standards.
  • Perform all RN-level clinical tasks required for geriatric patients.
  • Carry out nursing care plans and document care accurately in VA systems.
  • Monitor patient status and respond to changes in condition.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure continuity of care.
  • Maintain compliance with infection control, safety, and facility protocols.
  • Sign in/out daily; follow COR timekeeping and documentation procedures.
  • Use all VA-provided clinical equipment, technology, and supplies.
  • Report exposures, incidents, or safety concerns per VA policy.
