Relocation Assistance (based on eligibility) Duke University Hospital - GYN clinic 1J is seeking a CNII who embrace our mission of Advancing Health Together! Clinic/Profile: 1J – GYN/Rheumatology – A multidisciplinary, multi-specialty outpatient clinic including full range of diagnostic and treatment services for patients with gynecological and rheumatologic needs, as well as services for patients with perioperative pain and perioperative senior health needs. New patient evaluations, routine follow-up examinations, diagnostic procedures and testing, psychiatric evaluations, pre-surgical evaluations, post-operative care, post-partum care and nursing telehealth services are provided. Patients are either referred by provider or self-referred to the clinic and have a large variety of acute and chronic problems related to each specialty. Location: Main Duke Hospital, Durham Work Hours & Shifts: Full-Time - Day Shifts Monday-Friday – 8 hours a day Job Summary: The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) functions as an integral member of the interdisciplinary healthcare team in providing direct patient care. The CMA performs routine administrative and patient care supportive duties in a Health System medical practice, they assist medical and/or nursing staff in the examination and treatment of patients and ensure the clinic/office runs smoothly.
