About The Position

Howard Memorial Hospital is in need of a registered nurse for our Patient Care Unit. Responsibilities Demonstrates professionalism and ability to work with cultural diversity Participates in patient/family/staff education. Collaborates with other staff and ancillary departments as a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient care. Provides safe practice in all aspects of patient care activities. Utilizes knowledge, skill, and judgement in providing direct and indirect patient care.

Requirements

• RN licensed in State of Arkansas or Compact Licenses
• Graduate of accredited School of Nursing
• BLS/ACLS required
• NIH Stroke Scale annual certification required within one year of entry into position.
• Current Arkansas or Compact State RN licensure
• For internal applicants: Must be in good standing with HR.

Nice To Haves

• PALS preferred but not required.
