About The Position

Relocation Assistance plus $5,250 paid on your student loan! Work Schedule and Shift Premiums Full Time | 36 hours/week including every other weekend | Nights: 7pm-7am 2nd shift premium is $2.00/hr 3rd shift premium is $3.05/hr Weekend premiums is $2.00/hr Benefits Insurance: medical, prescription, dental, vision, life, disability Paid Time Off: vacation, sick days, personal days, holidays Retirement: 403(b) with match Education assistance & continuing education Qualifications ADN or BSN in nursing Valid Michigan RN license, could possibly work as a graduate nurse until you pass the NCLEX or get your Michigan endorsement Minimum of 2 years nursing experience preferred, but not necessarily required BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI/TEAM certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital) Responsibilities Triage incoming patients based on level of injury or illness Immediately stabilize incoming patients Administer medication as instructed by physicians Start intravenous lines Create and maintain incoming patient records Work with team of emergency staff to help patients Help transfer stable patients to other wings Collect comprehensive date pertinent to patient’s health and situation Analyze assessment data, identify appropriate nursing diagnosis lists and create individualized plan of care Evaluate outcomes and adjust nursing care process as indicated to ensure optimal patient care Participate in unit specific/hospital-wide quality improvement initiatives and assist with activities that enhance quality of nursing practice Why Hillsdale Hospital Hillsdale Hospital is dedicated to excellence in healthcare community service, continued improvement, and respect for human life. Requirements

  • ADN or BSN in nursing
  • Valid Michigan RN license, could possibly work as a graduate nurse until you pass the NCLEX or get your Michigan endorsement
  • BLS, ACLS, PALS and CPI/TEAM certification (available through Hillsdale Hospital)
