About The Position

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Emergency Room Nurse to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for patient care and possess the knowledge and skills necessary to provide high-quality emergency care. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and stabilizing patients in the emergency room, coordinating patient care, and providing effective communication with staff, patients, and families. If you have a strong commitment to patient-centered care and possess excellent clinical skills, we would love to have you join our team! Our full-time ER Nurses work three 12-hour shifts weekly. Night shift receives an additional 10% differential pay. $10,000 SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE Job purpose A clinically competent registered, licensed nurse who provides immediate, specialized emergency care with a multidisciplinary emergency medical service provider team. Must possess the basic and advanced theoretical knowledge and practical skills.

Requirements

  • Valid and current registration, New York State RN license
  • BLS upon hire, ACLS and PALS certification within the first two months of hire. (free classes offered to employees onsite)
  • Demonstrates knowledge of growth and development across the life span and the ability to use that knowledge to individualize the plan and delivery of care.
  • It is the employee’s responsibility to know the requirements for certification, limited permit and licensure for their individual profession.
  • It is also the responsibility of the employee to notify the employer of the status of any certification or licensure issue or potential issue.
  • The employee will comply with all of the requirements outlined by the New York State Office of professions for the particular profession.
  • Bending, lifting, standing, walking, must possess the physical ability to perform CPR.

Nice To Haves

  • Preferred minimum of two years of medical/surgical nursing experience and/or one year of Emergency Medicine or Critical Care experience
