As a fast-growing, leading provider, Giving Home Health Care serves patients across Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Missouri, Nevada, New Mexico, Tennessee, Texas, and Utah. The company is looking for a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) in the Odessa, TX area to administer patient care in accordance with a physician-established care plan. This role is a 1099 contract opportunity, with care being provided at the patient’s residence, typically requiring 6 hours a week.
Requirements
- Active RN license (State or Compact)
- 1+ year of RN experience (clinical or home health)
- CPR certification
- TB test (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable transportation
- Liability insurance
Responsibilities
- Follow physician-prescribed care plans
- Administer medications and treatments
- Conduct patient assessments and monitor vitals
- Educate patients and families
- Collaborate with CNAs, HHAs, and Case Managers
- Document care accurately and in a timely manner
- Perform various activities associated with daily living
