In this role, the Registered Nurse provides comprehensive nursing assessments, coordinates care with interdisciplinary treatment teams, monitors health status, and ensures safe and effective medication management. Requirements

  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
  • Willingness to obtain licensure in additional states as required
  • Ability and willingness to provide telehealth nursing services
  • BCLS certification required
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current auto insurance
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with privacy regulations
  • Strong time management skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Effective communication skills with clients, families, providers, and community partners
  • Ability to work calmly and professionally with individuals experiencing behavioral health crises
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Willingness to complete required background checks and ongoing training requirements
  • Ability to perform sedentary work, exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally
  • Frequent repetitive use of hands, fingers, and arms for typing and writing
  • Ability to sit for extended periods with occasional walking or standing
  • Capability to perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodation

  • ACLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive nursing assessments in accordance with service line requirements
  • Evaluate clients’ physical health needs and coordinate appropriate nursing services
  • Monitor client health status throughout treatment and service delivery
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment teams to coordinate and enhance client care
  • Develop and implement care and action plans addressing physical and mental health needs
  • Provide health education focused on disease prevention, risk reduction, and wellness
  • Administer and oversee medications in compliance with state regulations and service standards
  • Monitor medication effectiveness, side effects, and lab values in collaboration with providers
  • Coordinate medication services with pharmacies, providers, clients, and families
  • Assist physicians and advanced practice providers with examinations and procedures
  • Respond to and manage medical emergencies and urgent health concerns
  • Ensure accurate, timely documentation in accordance with organizational policies
