This position has variable scheduling to support unit coverage needs. Applicants should be comfortable with the following expectations: Dayshift coverage every other weekend Rotating holidays Night shift coverage as needed, primarily to support vacation coverage During non‑vacation periods, the role typically includes: One 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. shift per week, or An open 8‑hour shift (days/evenings/nights) based on staffing needs and availability The Registered Nurse Virtual Response Center utilizes proactive technology and software to remotely monitor patients to assist the bedside clinical care teams in making real time decisions in the delivery of care for patients. Responsible for remotely monitoring all patients within the Network and in-home settings where Epic, Masimo, Patient Safety Net, etc. are utilized. Notifies nursing and providers of any clinical concerns in a timely manner to facilitate real time, proactive clinical decision making and compliance with protocols.
