Under the direction of the department manager, leads safety and quality initiatives, focuses on and simplifies workflow, and contributes to the development of staff. Requirements

• 18 months RECENT Previous RN OR experience REQUIRED
• Previous charge nurse or other RN leadership experience
• Meets and maintains any requirements defined by specific specialty; Critical Care/IMCU ACLS within 1 year of hire; All Direct Care RNs required to have BLS within 90 days of hire.
• BSN or MSN REQUIRED
• RN License valid to practice in the State of Virginia
• Possesses clinical knowledge and skills to meet standards as required by specific clinical areas.
• RN License valid to work in the State of Virginia
