About The Position
The Registered Nurse (RN) provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process. The RN is responsible for the overall coordination and integration of patient care based on the needs of the patient and family members. The RN directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, and infection control, with the goal of discharging the patient with an optimum level of care. The RN utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards, adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act, reviews orders/test results, and accurately and timely documents care delivered in the electronic health record.
Requirements
- Graduate of an RN program
- Registered Nurse - licensed in the State of Florida
- American Heart Association BLS
- ACLS required

- BSN
- 1 year experience as a RN
Responsibilities
- Provides high quality, safe, cost effective, total nursing care to all patients utilizing the nursing process
- Assumes responsibility for overall coordination and integration of patient care based on need of the patient and family members
- Directs care according to established standards of safety, risk management, Infection control, with the goal being to discharge the patient with an optimum level of care provided
- Utilizes evidence-based practice in accordance with professional standards and adheres to the Florida State Nurse Practice Act
- Reviews orders/test results and documents care delivered accurately and timely in the electronic health record
