About The Position

POSITION SUMMARY Position Summary: Responsible for the direct and indirect care of patients. Plans, organizes, and directs the specialty service under their charge. Effectively communicates pertinent information to provide optimum patient care. Assists the director and clinical coordinator in assuming responsibility for administrative management of a specific area. Assists in development and monitoring performance improvement issues. Works to assure competent staff are able to meet the needs of the patient population.

Requirements

• Associate's or Diploma degree from an accredited school of nursing
• Current Kansas registered nurse license
• Current BLS certification (Basic Cardiac Life Support [American Red Cross-CPR for the Professional Rescuer] or Basic Life Support [American Heart Association-Health Care Provider] certification
• Two years experience in an acute care setting

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor in Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
