Registered Nurse Supervisor
About The Position
The RN Supervisor provides on-site clinical leadership and coordination for nursing services within Pittsburgh Mercy’s Residential and Personal Care Programs. These programs serve adults with serious mental illness; substance use disorders and co-occurring medical conditions. The RN Supervisor supports the Senior Manager of Nursing in ensuring that safe, person-centered, and trauma-informed care is consistently delivered in accordance with Pittsburgh Mercy policies, applicable state and federal regulations, and accreditation standards. This is a working leadership role combining clinical expertise, staff development, and operational oversight across multiple residential sites.
Requirements
- RN with current license in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania required.
- BSN preferred.
- Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience including 1+ years in behavioral health, residential, or personal care settings.
- Supervisory leadership is preferred.
- Must have the ability to manage multiple priorities across sites and collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary teams.
- Position requires excellent written/verbal communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Strong understanding of behavioral health and medical care needs in residential populations.
- Valid Drivers’ License
- Pre-Employment Drug Screen, physical, TB and Hep B screenings
- Act 33/34/73 Clearances
