About The Position

Mercer Manor Rehabilitation is currently hiring a compassionate and experienced Registered Nurse Supervisor to join our dedicated care team in a part-time capacity. Located in Aledo, IL , our skilled nursing facility is known for providing high-quality, resident-focused care in a warm and supportive environment. We are seeking an RN leader who is committed to excellence and ready to make a meaningful impact. In this important role, the Registered Nurse Supervisor will serve as both a hands-on caregiver and a leader. You will provide direct nursing care to residents, while also overseeing and supporting the clinical team-including RNs, LPNs, and CNAs. Your responsibilities will include ensuring that all care delivered meets our high standards and aligns with residents' personalized care plans. You'll assess and monitor residents' health, manage any emergent issues, and ensure that staff adhere to all applicable policies, procedures, and regulatory standards. Beyond clinical oversight, you'll serve as a mentor and role model to your team, promoting a collaborative, respectful, and compassionate work culture. You'll help train and guide staff, solve problems as they arise, and ensure smooth communication among departments to ensure seamless care delivery across the facility. Requirements

  • Active Registered Nurse license in the state of Illinois.
  • Previous nursing experience in a skilled nursing facility (SNF) or long-term care required.
  • Proven leadership skills and the ability to manage a team effectively.
  • Strong clinical judgment, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Dedicated, caring and focused on the wellbeing of elders.
  • Dependability and commitment to consistent weekend availability.
