This role is located at Ascension St. Vincent's Clay County Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, within the PACU Recovery department, on a full-time day schedule. Requirements

  • BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.
  • Registered Nurse credentialed from the Florida Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
  • Required professional licensure/certification AND 1 year of cumulative job specific experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor an interdisciplinary team of caregivers, providing the real-time coaching and feedback necessary to maintain our high standards of clinical excellence.
  • Coordinate shift operations by strategically assigning patient loads based on staff expertise, ensuring every patient receives specialized, population-appropriate care.
  • Direct the patient care journey by synthesizing data from the entire clinical team to create comprehensive, proactive care plans for your unit.
  • Champion team growth by actively participating in the interview and selection process, ensuring we hire top-tier talent that aligns with our mission and culture.
  • Uphold clinical integrity through the vigilant oversight of care delivery, providing the necessary guidance or corrective action to ensure safety and quality are never compromised.
