Registered Nurse - PACU
About The Position
PACU RN assignment with 10-hour rotating day and evening shifts. This role is designed for a nurse experienced in post-anesthesia care, supporting patients recovering from surgical procedures across multiple specialties. The position requires flexibility with scheduling, as shifts may vary and schedule requests are subject to manager approval. Orientation is conducted on a biweekly basis. This role does not require floating and is best suited for candidates comfortable working in a fast-paced recovery environment. Local candidates are not accepted, and reliable transportation is strongly recommended due to limited public transit access.
Requirements
- Active BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications
- Completed dysrhythmia testing
- Experience with pediatric and gynecological patient populations
- Any state RN license accepted at submission; however, a Vermont license must be applied for upon acceptance
- Complete and accurate profile, including detailed work history with facility names, bed count, EMR systems, and unit specifics
- All employment gaps over 30 days must be explained
