About The Position
Join the Specialty Clinic team to provide essential care in the diagnosis and treatment of sexually transmitted infections (STIs). The ideal candidate has a strong background in STI treatment and patient education and is passionate about making a difference in sexual health.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
- Active RN license in the state of Kentucky; CPR certification.
- Previous STI or sexual health clinical experience is strongly preferred.
- Proficiency in patient care, diagnosis support, and treatment procedures for STIs.
- Strong cultural competence and the ability to engage effectively with diverse patient populations.
Nice To Haves
- Previous STI or sexual health clinical experience is strongly preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care to patients seeking STI services.
- Support diagnosis and treatment processes.
- Conduct patient education and prevention counseling.
- Work collaboratively with APRNs and physicians.
