About The Position

Navitas Healthcare, LLC is seeking Registered Nurse – Stepdown for an exciting Travel or Local job in Cincinnati, OH.

Requirements

• Diploma in Nursing
• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Ohio or Compact State
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
• Minimum 1 year of Stepdown experience (required)
• ACLS certification required
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to provide age- and culturally appropriate care
• Effective communication and teamwork skills
• Commitment to confidentiality and professional standards
• Ability to adapt to changing clinical environments and patient needs
• Demonstrated commitment to ongoing professional growth and competency

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification preferred
• Charge RN or Preceptor experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide stepdown-level nursing care for medically complex patients
• Manage patients with cardiac, respiratory, and multisystem conditions
• Administer medications, infusions, transfusions, and perform central line care
• Support patients requiring non-invasive ventilation (BiPAP/CPAP/APAP)
• Perform and interpret clinical assessments including stroke scale evaluations
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure safe patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards
