Atlantic Rehabilitation Institute is a 38-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital providing individualized, patient-centered therapy and medical care. We specialize in recovery from: Stroke and neurological disorders Brain and spinal cord injury Orthopedic trauma and post-operative recovery Debilitating or chronic illness affecting functional independence Our modern hospital includes therapy gyms, transitional living areas, outdoor therapeutic spaces, and advanced rehabilitation equipment designed to support patient strength, mobility, and independence.

Requirements

  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN, BSN, or Diploma)
  • Current RN licensure in the State of New Jersey
  • BLS required
  • Minimum six (6) months of acute care or med/surg experience preferred
  • Strong communication, critical thinking, teamwork, and rehabilitation-focused mindset

Nice To Haves

  • ACLS preferred
  • CRRN preferred but not required

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive nursing assessments and identify patient care priorities
  • Implement targeted nursing interventions aligned with each patient’s rehabilitation goals
  • Provide safe, patient-centered care appropriate to age and condition
  • Partner with patients and families to support education and discharge planning
  • Collaborate closely with physicians, therapists, case managers, and interdisciplinary team members
  • Document patient progress accurately and support medical necessity in clinical records
  • Participate in the development and ongoing updates of individualized care plans
  • Contribute to quality improvement and patient safety initiatives
  • Foster a supportive and respectful environment for patients, families, and colleagues
  • Connect with our RN recruiting specialist
