The Special Procedures Registered Nurse is responsible for providing direct care to patients undergoing treatments and procedures in Endoscopy and the Special Procedures unit.You will collect specimens for testing.You will assist physician during procedure. You will maintain and stock Special Procedure area.You will be a resource for Surgical Scheduling relative to bookings.You will provide relevant and complete documentation on patient related activity.You will educate patient and family related to procedure, medications, follow-up home care.You will assume responsibility to stay current with available training and/or literature to ensure quality patient care in Special Procedures.

Requirements

A Registered Nurse license in a compact state as defined by the NH Board of Nursing is required.
Minimum one year medical/surgical nursing required.
Phlebotomy trained.
Working knowledge of underlying principles and standards for the following entities: CDC, CMS.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high stress work environment.

Nice To Haves

ICU, Special Procedures/Interventional Radiology experience preferred.
