This position provides operational supervision of campus workflow, resource utilization and management, and operations for all clinical and non-clinical departments during assigned shift. It involves responding to facility emergency situations, initiating disaster notification processes, facilitating patient placement, and communicating with media. The role is full-time, 36-hours per week, working nights from 6:00 pm - 6:30 am at Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming. In this position, the Registered Nurse Shift Lead will assist various hospital departments, manage lunch breaks, serve as a resource when leaders are absent, and contribute to staffing decisions. Platte County Memorial Hospital offers a full range of inpatient and outpatient services, including an Outpatient Clinic with over 20 regional physicians across nine medical specialties. The hospital recently underwent a $16 million renovation, adding a new inpatient wing, surgical suite, and diagnostic imaging departments, and enhancing the emergency department and laboratory. Wheatland, Wyoming, is a close-knit community 70 miles north of Cheyenne, offering recreational opportunities in southern Wyoming, including lakes and the Laramie Peak and Medicine Bow National Forest areas, and is an easy drive to Colorado's Rocky Mountains and Denver.
