About The Position
Newton Village, a Cassia community, is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team. Newton Village is an award-winning senior care community where your skills are valued and your dedication to excellent care makes an impact. This position is part-time with the opportunity to increase hours and transition to full-time for candidates interested in additional shifts. We are offering a $5,000 bonus. As a Registered Nurse at Newton, you'll deliver compassionate, high-quality care to residents, administer medications, and work closely with a dedicated team to ensure the best possible outcomes. Requirements
- Must have a current Iowa RN license and be in good standing.
- Must have CPR certification or willing to obtain
- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
- Must have strong communication and organizational skills.
- Self-starter with a desire to be a part of a team.

- Experience in Long Term Care preferred.
Responsibilities
- Displays a courteous attitude and respect for all residents, families, and staff.
- Works to coordinate, oversee, and provide resident-related care.
- Administers medications and/or treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitors for effectiveness/response.
- Manages medications, supplies, and equipment including ordering, receiving, storing, and disposing of all items in accordance with policies and procedures.
- Documents care using computerized medication administration and charting software.
- Notifies Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition, and takes follow up action as necessary.
