Pediatric Nursing (Home & School): 1:1 school cases, building/sub/floater roles, or home care for children with complex needs. Private Duty Nursing: Long-term, 1:1 skilled care in the home for patients with chronic or complex conditions (trach/vent, g-tube, wound care). Requirements
- Active RN license in New York State
- Minimum 6 months of experience in home care or school nursing
- Current CPR/BLS certification (AHA or Red Cross)
- Physical exam completed within the past year
- QuantiFERON test within the past year
- MMR documentation or titers
Responsibilities
- Provide direct nursing care including medication administration and treatments
- Monitor and document patient health status; report changes promptly
- Assist with daily living activities while preserving client dignity
- Maintain a safe and supportive home environment
- Collaborate with families and interdisciplinary care teams to implement personalized care plans
