About The Position

Registered Nurse (RN) - Pediatric Care Center Part Time ; 48 hours/pay Night Shift (7PM - 7AM) Weekend & Holiday commitment per the guidelines of the department Newark, DE ChristianaCare is seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Pediatric Care Center, located within the Women’s & Children’s building on our Newark Campus. Our Pediatric Care Center features 14 beds and provides a unique blend of emergency and general pediatric acute care. As a Pediatric Care Center RN, you will care for patients from birth through age 17 with a wide range of conditions, including RSV, sepsis, asthma, fractures, gastrointestinal illnesses, head and body injuries, high fevers, infections, abdominal pain, and more. Education and Experience Requirements: BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred. Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware BLS Certification required; ACLS & PALS certifications preferred. Hourly Pay Range: $41.28 - $66.05 This pay rate/range represents ChristianaCare’s good faith and reasonable estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Requirements

• BSN required or commitment to obtaining BSN within three years of date of hire
• Delaware RN licensure or eligibility for licensure in the state of Delaware
• BLS Certification required

Nice To Haves

• Two years of Acute Care RN experience strongly preferred
• Pediatric, pediatric emergency, emergency department or critical care experience strongly preferred.
