About The Position
EIHAB Human Services is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to provide high-quality healthcare services to individuals with developmental disabilities. The RN will deliver clinical care, conduct assessments, oversee medical services, and collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal client outcomes. Requirements
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Jersey
- Current CPR certification
- Valid NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Complete required DDD trainings (Medication Administration, Abuse & Neglect, etc.) within 120 days
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA and Danielle’s Law training
- Must not be listed on the Central Registry for Offenders Against Individuals with Developmental Disabilities
Nice To Haves
- Strong communication and documentation skills
- Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word & Excel)
- Knowledge of behavioral health and developmental disabilities
Responsibilities
- Provide nursing care and health assessments for all assigned clients
- Develop, implement, and monitor treatment and care plans
- Administer and oversee medication management and training for staff/clients
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Maintain accurate medical records, reports, and documentation
- Participate in care planning and team meetings
- Provide health education and training as needed
- Ensure compliance with NJ Department of Human Services and licensing standards
- Report incidents in accordance with Division Circular #14 and agency policies
- Supervise and support direct care staff in medical-related services
