About The Position

Registered Nurse for night shift, cross-trained and comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, and MST units. Must possess strong critical care skills and provide age-appropriate care across the lifespan.

Requirements

• Active New York State RN License
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
• Minimum 1 year experience in Med/Surg, Telemetry, ICU, or Critical Care
• Critical Care experience required
• Comfortable floating to ICU, ER, Med/Surg, MST
• BLS (AHA or RQI only)
• ACLS (AHA or RQI only)
• PALS (AHA or RQI only)
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS)
• Basic Coronary Care (within 6 months of hire)
• CPI Certification (within 90 days of hire)

Nice To Haves

• Emergency Nurses Association (ENA) Certification (within 2 years)
• TNCC (within 2 years)
• Strong clinical judgment and critical thinking
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
• Maintains patient confidentiality and professionalism
• Team-oriented with effective role-modeling behaviors
• Computer literate; EMR experience preferred
• Microsoft Office experience preferred
